Accounts assistant required – 10-18 hours per week £10-£15ph depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to support us in the following tasks:-
- Sole trade and partnership accounts preparation
- Preparation of the Financial Statements for SME’s
- Drafting Corporation tax returns
- Dealing with general client’s enquiries, liaising directly with clients and HMRC
- Bookkeeping and VAT preparation and online filing
- Payroll
You must be able to manage your own time and clients. Experience with Digita and Xero would be preferred, but not essential as training can be provided.
Previous Accountancy ‘Practice’ experience is essential.
The job is an office based job, working flexible hours over a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, with the possiblility of occassional working from home.
We are ideally looking for a committed, proactive individual with great communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients.
This role could also be extended for the right candidate to include a further study package and more hours if required.

AAT Apprentice - £14,000pa
We are looking for an accounts trainee to join our quickly growing modern accountancy practice based in Overbury, Tewkesbury. This will be a varied office while to enable the right candidate to gain experience in an office environment while training for an accountancy qualification.
Whether you are at the start of your working life or just looking for a change in career, as a trainee you will be following the AAT qualification at the local college with the option of either day release or evening courses all funded by us.
We are looking for candidates who have at least 5 GCSE’s grade C or above to include Maths at grade B or above. Good computer skills are essential.
