Arubus provides a variety of proactive accountancy advice and services to include monthly bookkeeping and VAT, payroll and management accounts, along with ensuring you and your business manage the annual accounting compliance set by Companies House and HMRC.

 

We provide these services to a variety of owner managed businesses from sole traders with annual turnover of £50k to Corporate businesses with a turnover of up to £10 million. We build a personal service package to best fit your business needs.

 

We have a long standing valued client base with most of our new work coming from recommendations,  and although we have grown considerably in the last few years, and will continue to do so, we pride ourselves in maintaining a professional personal service to each and every one of our clients.

    Current job opportunities:-

    Accounts assistant required – 12-18 hours per week £14-£17ph depending on experience

     

    We are a small busy accountancy practice based in Overbury, just outside Tewkesbury, 4 miles north of Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham

     

    Our staff are welcoming, engaged, supportive and highly productive. Hopefully you would find the work fulfilling and the atmosphere enjoyable.

     

    We are looking for an all round experienced accounts assistant to support us in the office in the following tasks:-

    ·       Overseeing bookkeeping and payroll services

    ·       Sole trade and partnership accounts preparation

    ·       Preparation of the Financial Statements for SME’s

    ·       Drafting personal tax returns

    ·       Drafting Corporation tax returns

    ·       Detailing with general client’s enquiries, liaising directly with clients

    ·       VAT completion

     

    Experience with Xero is essential.

     

    We will only consider applications if you have had previous Accountancy ‘Practice’ experience. 

     

    Due to the location of our office, a car is essential.

    We are ideally looking for a committed, proactive individual with great communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients.

    This role could also be extended for the right candidate to include a further study package and more hours if required.
